This section showcases the innovative artistry of Fong Chung-ray from 1990 to 2010, as he seamlessly merges Chinese and Western influences. Through the integration of Eastern cultural elements and Western techniques, Fong’s works capture the essence of both traditions. Reflecting deep emotions and wisdom drawn from observations of everyday life, his art employs techniques such as collage, monoprints, rubbings, ink-splashing and ink-rendering to explore textures, colors and natural elements, infusing them with personal sentiment.
